The CG Society - These days you have to pay for the really cool stuff here but its still pretty much the number one web site for news on the digital arts industry and some of its more famous artists.

CG Focus - Not the most well designed site in the world, nor the most updated but they do have some great exclusives now and then with some really in depth articles.

CG Channel - A great site which now creates its own line of equally great animation training DVD's (3DS Max, oh well, at least the principles apply). Expect exclusive video content soon.

Digital Tutors News Section - Not really a news site but they get included because they were the first of these to report that Blur Studios amazing short 'Gopher Broke' was online for the first time for the public to view.

fxGuide - not just animation but multi-media and post production as well, usually tearing apart all the cool VFX from whatever's at the cinema.

3D Total - "The 3D Artists Homepage", says it all really.

InsideCG - Whenever something happens these guys will provide a link to another site and a headline.

HighEnd3D - News, Articles and a huge library of software extensions such as MEL scripts, shaders and plug-ins. Some very useful stuff here.
