Here I just put together some links that I think are useful for anyone in or around the area of digital content creation:
CrystelRender - Quite possibly the coolest ever, this company will put your models into one of them cool little crystal cubes.
3D Art To Part - Not as cool as crystal but these guys will make your models real using rapid prototyping, and then you can paint your models, also more affordable than crystal.
Here are some good suppliers of computer hardware/software and such (unless you prefer PC World), anyone in this job needs a good mouse, wireless, lots of programmable buttons and at least optical, preferably laser like the new Logitechs.

And finally if you have $15,000 just lying around and want to be a top animator go here Animation Mentor for their 18 month program which is pretty much proven to be a brilliant way of getting into character animation, with graduates going straight to places that don't need explaining like Disney Feature, Pixar, ILM etc. This is purely character animation, no modeling or render global's in sight. I'm saving for this at the moment, should get there by the time I'm 50, oh well.
